JAMIE LAIRD -

Clint Anderson Ambassador

"I'm passionate about providing people with knowledge and educating them in their health as well as building a partnership with their horse. Working as a healthcare provider and horsemanship clinician is a harmonious balance, falling in line with my values, goals and talents."

Jamie has lived her life with a passion for helping others and a deep love for horses. She is an Army Veteran, a Physician Assistant and a professional horsewoman. She served as a Combat Medic in the United States Army upon graduating high-school from 2002-2010. During her enlistment, she was inspired to pursue healthcare services as a physician assistant and graduated from

Texas Tech with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. She continues to provide healthcare services in a part-time capacity for a local urgent care facility.

In the summer of 2018, her dream of becoming a professional horsewoman became reality when she graduated as a Method Ambassador from the Clinton Anderson Clinician Academy. She provides private horsemanship and riding lessons, horsemanship clinics and takes horses in for training at her ranch she operates with her husband. She attributes her love for horses to her father, who as Jamie recalls, "had me on the back of a horse before I could even hold my head up."

"This journey isn't what I intended, but it's the one I've been placed on, the one where my dreams are coming true, I want to help make that happen for others."
